An original gouache painting on canvas (2026). Measures - 17.5 cm W x 12.5cm L x 3mm D.
Second in my series of dead bird paintings. Whenever I see a dead bird (as one does, going about my day) I stop to take a photo, recently I asked my followers to send me any of their dead bird photos for me to paint - this was one of them, a redwing (a member of the thrush family).
Please note - charcoal may shed when touched, best framed for protection.
