Inspired by my friends beautiful land in Carmarthenshire, where they have a small orchard and conservation grazing ponies graze a few weeks each summer, to conserve the marsh fritillary butterfly (on the red list in Wales). The ponies eat the apples, fertilise the soil, create and maintain habitat for the butterflies, everything co-exists in balance.
Please note - charcoal may shed when touched, best framed for protection.
